Enthusiasm ~ Inspiration

 I found a frame for my painting.  It was a fugly broken thing tossed into the clearance section @ Home Goods but I saw it's potential immediately.  I looked beyond the gross green color and viewed it with my third eye.  I observed it's details and the lovely roses on each corner.   I took it home, wiped it down and slapped a mixture of off white paints on it.  All I need to complete this project is the correct size matte and it'll be perfect. :)

Enthusiasm:   The words absorption and possession are used to define Enthusiasm. How wonderful is that?   To be so fully immersed in something it takes possession of you.  When I am creating I feel focused. I feel open and connected to the universe.  A feeling of complete happiness hums through me.  This year I promised myself I would create whenever I felt inspired.  I meet every new idea with enthusiasum and go over it to discover it's potential. Some I jump into right away, while others are carefully placed in my idea binder.

There haven't been many dull moments since I have allowed myself to live with the freedom of accepting and embracing who I am, a naturally creative person.  It's not that I'm necessarily coming up with more ideas but that I am acknowledging and respecting them.

Right now I am possessed with an idea and I am just itching to take it out of my brain.  What you don't see in that picture is the rest of the table is covered with plastic, beautiful bottles of paint grouped together and a fresh blank canvas.  .  .
