Finding Happiness

Happiness is not an ideal of reason, but of imagination. ~Immanuel Kant

  • Happiness for me is being able to sit still near nature and become part of the flora.
  • Happiness is being completely drawn into the creative process where nothing else exists but the now of creation.
  • Happiness is when I hear the laughter of a loved one.  Their joy becomes mine.
Where do you find happiness?

Pleasure is spread through the earth in stray gifts to be claimed by whoever shall find. ~William Wordsworth, 1806

Happiness is like a butterfly which, when pursued, is always beyond our grasp, but, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you. ~Nathaniel Hawthorne

I agree. These are the same things that bring me happiness...we definitely need to spend more of our time on these things. <3

Humanity is more alike than we are different.
