for my next trick I Will Scare the Spit out of You

Hello Dear Friends.

Welcome back.

I've blogged previously about Interpretation and Mastering your Point of View.

Today I'm thinking about the artists Perspective.

These photos were Created with the intention of scaring you.  I will post the originals on another day so you can have a good laugh.

But right now, you should be scared.

I've even used phrases from yesterday's playful post.  But who's playing now?

The ghosties in the photos  want to play.  Will you play with them?

Sometimes they pinch and or bite but you look like a fast runner to me.

PERSPECTIVE: personal approach, purpose, aim, approach, aspect, direction, hand, intention, outlook, perspective, plan, point of view, position, side, slant, standpoint, viewpoint

i LOVE scaring people.

When I was a kid I would make haunted houses just for fun.

In Chicago the houses are usually two stories or more and have back porches with stairs.  oh the stairs.  Perfect for dropping things from up above and Perfect for poking things from below.

As a crafty young prankster I would take my Dad's tiny little cardboard spark plug boxes, paint them black and add four little legs to each side to make them look like tarantulas.

I tied them so they would hang down on everyone coming up those stairs.  There was no way around them.  The extras were perfect for throwing.

On the landing if there was room for furniture I'd tie string to the legs so I could make a chair appear to move on its own.

And if that didn't chase you away then we could go inside and watch gruesome ghouls and ghosts on WGN's Creature Feature or tune in to undead hosts Svengoolie and Elvira.

Well I have to run and make sure everything, I mean everyone has been fed.  See you tomorrow.

Don't forget to look behind the doors and under the bed tonight.

SCARE: frighten someone, affright, alarm, awe, chill, daunt, dismay, freeze, give a fright, give a turn, intimidate, panic, paralyze, petrify, scare silly, scare stiff, scare the pants off, shake up, shock, spook, startle, strike terror in, terrify, terrorize

I used to love to watch Creature Feature and Elvira. They don't make the scary movies like they used to. Interesting tricks with the images. I love the little masks in the first picture. : )
