Today I thought I'd do a round up of the articles I've written for the Papa Heroes website where I continue to share my love of language and communication. One of the most important things we can teach our children is how to communicate well so they can maneuver effortlessly in the world.
As technology evolves so does our language and the methods we use to connect. Not only are children learning but as adults we must continue to educate ourselves. I think you might learn a few fun things here.

100 Acronyms You Need to Know
An acronym is a form of abbreviation to save space and time when typing. When texting or chatting the goal is to say as much as possible in as few letters as possible, which has created an explosion of acronym terms. I've created a lengthy list which focuses on red flags every parent should be aware of.
A few examples:
A3 – Anytime, anywhere, anyplace
CD9 – Code 9 – parents are around
D46? – Down for sex?
GNOC – Get Naked On Cam
KPC – Keeping Parents Clueless
Check out the article to find out the other 95 terms on my must know list.
