What Camera do you use?

Camera: 1. an optical device consisting of a lens system set in a light-proof construction inside which a light-sensitive film or plate can be positioned See also cine camera, digital camera 2. the equipment used to convert the optical image of a scene into the corresponding electrical signals

Since I started blogging I often get asked what camera I use.  I've never had anything fancy.  I've always made do with the mediums at hand.  Try not to faint when I tell you I use a Sony Cybershot.

My Sony Cybershot distinguished by the bling.

The type of camera that is right for you depends on what you are interested in shooting. My favorite captures are nature.

The Sony Cybershots forte is outdoor pictures.  When it comes to outdoor photos this little camera takes the best shots.  In the sunlight the colors are vibrant and the images crystal clear. On a sunny day you will capture the most beautiful scenic shots you've ever seen.

Now the moment you get cloud cover you better put your photography skills to use to get a great picture.  This is where a college education comes in handy.  On a cloudy day the quality and resolution will not be as sharp.

For indoor photos you must again use your skills as a photographer and master lighting.  To get a great indoor shot with this little camera requires the proper lighting set up. Flash can be your friend or your enemy as you struggle for the perfect angle so you don't end up with glare.

Here are some details on the Sony Cybershot DSC-H70:

  • 10x (25mm wide) optical zoom lens,
  • 16.1-megapixel, Sweep Panorama Mode,
  • HD Movie mode (720p),
  • 3.0" LCD,
  • iAuto mode,
  • Optical SteadyShot image stabilization,
  • Motion Detection
Here are some photos I've taken with this camera with no editing other than crop:

I use a Canon Rebel T2i with an 18-55mm or 55-250mm lens. Love it! I would definitely recommend this camera!

Gracias, Letty! I would've never guessed. You're pictures always come out so beautiful. I've only ever used my iPhone because I find camera equipment super confusing and it's with me everywhere I go.
