Creativity

Creativity: the ability to create, possession of the qualities (especially mental qualities) required to do something or get something done; the intellectual productivity of a creative imagination; thinking that moves away in diverging directions so as to involve a variety of aspects and which sometimes lead to novel ideas and solutions.

I've never been more creative in my life than this year.  My head is filled with ideas.

I have an exciting new start up idea in baby stage. I'm tugging and kneading the idea into a business plan and soon a tangible prototype.

I'm sure I've already written over a half million words.  My computer is filled with files, so is this blog and the many words I've sent across cyber space.

I ended up re-writing my screenplay which is about 75% complete.  I can see it's improvement with each draft and find it satisfying to see my growth as a writer.  

I have a work in progress painting drying behind me.  My walls are covered with paintings and framed photographs.  I've found real pleasure in photography.  It allows me to practice my creativity and refresh the lessons I learned in college.  I feel like this is preparing for my next phase which will probably be video.  I didn't think I would want to be both writer and director but I thought of a fun project which I'm story-boarding.

My challenge, which I need to work very hard at is time management.

Each day I study, read and practice to improve myself.  I finally learned how to be truly me and it feels dam good.
