Reflection

Reflection: 1. The throwing back by a body or surface of light, heat, or sound without absorbing it. 2.Mental concentration; careful consideration.

"Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards."
Søren Kierkegaard

In my latest batch of photos you will notice a prominent, expansive sky.  Sometimes I feel so tiny and my life so short that I better get busy and complete all of those open projects.

When I lived in Puerto Rico my parents would take us on drives every weekend. I would entertain myself by counting the colors in the sky as we drove the mountainous roads.

Thankfully there are no shortage of parks in South Florida. I believe every community has one.  At least two or three times a week I start my day with a run at the park.  I love feeling close to nature and observing every little detail I come upon; the birds, the plants, the flowers and animals. I feel alive.

Very beautiful post. I feel fully alive when I am running in the park or swimming in the open ocean. It reminds you of how much in life is unimportant noise enveloped in the illusion of importance. Nature is beautiful and speaks to you of what really matters in your life and how you are connected to it all.

The quote you chose is so very true! We miss so much of life's potential when we live in the past. Your sky/water shots are amazing.
