Things you have control over:

What you think
What you eat
What you drink

Taking control of your health means taking action today. . . and guess what? . . . It's not difficult. Here's a bunch of things that you can do right now. No excuses.

Schedule regular pap smears.
Check your breasts.

Exercise - Park the car farther, walk more, take the stairs, Dance.

Eat healthier - There are endless resources at your disposal.
  • Diminish the amount of unhealthy fats you consume.
  • Omega-3 fatty acids are heart-healthy and can be found in high-fat fish; albacore tuna, mackerel and salmon, other seafood; herring, lake trout, oysters, sardines, shellfish and shrimp and plant sources; butternuts, white walnuts, flaxseed, flaxseed oil, hempseed, hempseed oil, soybean oil, and walnuts.
  • Increase Intake Of Flax seed, Soy : The chemical phytoestrogen found in flaxseed, whole grain and soy reduces the chances of breast cancer.
  • Eat more fruits and vegetables.
  • If you drink alcohol, limit your daily intake to two drinks for men and one drink for women.
  • Limit consumption of salty foods and food processed with salt (sodium).

Maintain a healthy weight.
Take a few minutes each day to be quiet.  This is one of the best and easiest ways to combat stress.
  • Meditation
  • Visualization
