Looking Back

Photobucket

Last summer a few fun memorable things I did was visit Sea World, hit the beach and try surfing and took the time to enjoy drinking mojitos to cool off during hot summer nights.  I had a great time writing many freelance articles on topics I care about.

Now I find myself with half of 2012 gone and it's turned out to be such a different year than I thought it would back in January.  I'm feeling like most of the goals I made earlier this year are no longer important to me.  I feel like I need to quiet my spirit and reflect on what is important to me today.  In stillness figure out what it is I need to do and create a new list of goals to move forward.  I feel like I have evolved during the first half of the year and that's changed my priorities.

The things that haven't changed is my passion for writing, photography and painting.

How are you doing with your 2012 goals?

If we allow it, we're always evolving. If we're lucky we realize this and are grateful. Glad you're one of the lucky ones.

Hola! Una boricua aqui en Las Vegas. You posed a good question. It prompted me to check my 2012 Goal List. I am a goal-oriented person and by this time of the year, I have accomplished great part of my goals. Not this year. :) It's for good reasons though, so I'm justified. But I appreciate the reminder. I can still work on 2 or 3 more before the end of the year. Un abrazo.

I didn't really set any goals for the year. I don't know if that is a good thing, or bad thing. I still make time for the things that are important to me so I think that is good. It sounds like you are doing the same!
