Candy Themed Christmas

Our Holiday tradition is to put up the Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving which we did but since I wanted a candy themed tree this year it took longer.
.
I didn't want to use the same decorations I did last year so I changed a few things. My first purchase was the large white and red striped bows which remind me of mint candy and candy canes. They are large enough so I don't need to many to fill up the tree.
.
Another large item for the tree are the red stocking with our initials in glitter.
.
Then I found the most adorable handmade cupcakes made of cloth and yarn with glitter sprinkled on top. Cupcake printed ribbon in shades of green, red and pink added the perfect detail.
.
And lastly a 2 foot light up bow for the top of the tree.
.
I'm happy to say the tree is DONE!

What a fun theme for a tree! All the little ornaments are so cute! Where did you get the cupcakes?

Hi Lisa, I found these cupcakes at Kmart but I'm always on the lookout for candy themed ornaments. :)
