ASCII Art ~ My Latest Obsession

Yes, I really do find a way to incorporate art into every aspect of my life. It makes me happy what can I say. I use it on Facebook and Twitter and now my blogs.

ASCII art is a form of art that uses ASCII characters. It involves the clever placement of typed characters in specific areas to form a visual shape spread over multiple lines of text.

What are ASCII characters?
ASCII is the Acronym for the American Standard Code for Information Interchange - code for representing English characters as numbers, with each letter assigned a number from 0 to 127. For example, the ASCII code for uppercase M is 77. Most computers use ASCII codes to represent text, which makes it possible to transfer data from one computer to another.

Using ASCII art is as simple as copying and pasting. If you don't have the time to create a whole picture just Google the words: ASCII art and you will find plenty to choose from.

So will you make the net a prettier place and use ASCII art?
