The First Day of Spring

Today is the first day of spring and yet a morning like many others.  A lovely breeze pushes pass the curtains to keep the temperature just right.  A variety of birds communicating to each other just outside my window sounds like music to my ears.  Beyond the garden are the sporadic buzzing noises of people, lawn mowers and cars.  When those sounds die down it's the dogs barking, more bird calls and the rooster in the neighborhood that crows all day long.

It is a perfect time to reflect on the seeds we have been sowing.  Have you been working on your dreams and desires?  How are you doing with your goals?  Are they ready to produce for you?  Do they need a little more nuturing?

As for myself, I see beautiful tiny little buds sprouting everywhere.  Not yet ready to bloom but seeing them fills me with hope and assurance that I am on the right path.

"It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold:  when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade."  ~Charles Dickens

"Every spring is the only spring - a perpetual astonishment."  ~Ellis Peters
