Time

"To realize the unimportance of time is the gate to wisdom." Bertrand Russell
Today I'm thinking of those moments where time doesn't matter. Summer lasts at least 36 months when you're nine years old lying on prickly grass blades in your backyard watching the Blue Angels leave white trails in the sky while they practice for the airshow.

A single kiss can last five hours the first time your gorgeous crush drives you to the beach to miss the sunset because our eyes were closed.

A dance can last all night long because the music is good and your dancing partner great.

Hours pass unnoticed the first time a baby falls asleep in your arms because now you know what true love is really all about.

When was the last time didn't matter?

Oh yeah, last weekend when I took this photo. I sat comfortably under an umbrella enjoying the warm salty breeze camera in hand.
