I wanted to capture the sunset and city life in 2011.  It was interesting to think about how I use my digital camera to capture images pointing out the beauty of objects with the purpose of creating art all while being watched from unblinking government cameras.

I am aware of them but sometimes while going about my day I forget.  I'm sure those of us who experienced life before them tend to notice them more.

It makes me feel a little sad for the generations that have no expectations of privacy.  But I could also get philosophical and come to the conclusion that any veil of privacy is a mere illusion anyway.

Studies so far have shown little or no impact whatsoever on crime.

Do we value our privacy?  Has social media and phoney 'reality' TV made us complacent?
