My Halloween Mask

My head has been in the clouds for the past week or so and there are moments when I emerge.

For Halloween I painted a butterfly mask on my face. We get lots and lots and lots of kids in my neighborhood every year. The bowl was nearly emptied.



Then I participated in a Day of the Dead parade.  It was so much fun.  A Mariachi band led the parade. The music was beautiful. The band played really well.  People of all ages walked together in remembrance of those who have passed away but not before enriching our lives.  Some wore highly decorated masks like myself while others looked so beautiful in elaborate makeup.



I'm not happy with how blogger forces photos to layout in the blog post so I made this short 30 video on the Animoto website.  I've used them before.  They're quick and easy to use while I'm still deciding on video editing software.

Here are some photos that didn't make it into the video cause 30 seconds is just too short. ;)
