"Fear is often disguised as moral outrage." Judy Blume

Sadly tragedies happen everyday and people are offended and outraged. I see their anger and hear their rants but how about creating something positive with that energy. Instead of uselessly cursing and hurling anger out into the world why not focus on a solution. Why not harness that energy in a positive way? Focus on creating change for the better.
Ask yourself:
How can such and such tragedy be prevented? Who is hurting? How can I help?
The next time you feel outraged ask yourself who can benefit from your energy? Who can you help directly right now?
This world is yours what will you do to make it better?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are." Benjamin Franklin
"Let us be the ones who say we do not accept that a child dies every three seconds simply because he does not have the drugs you and I have. Let us be the ones to say we are not satisfied that your place of birth determines your right for life. Let us be outraged, let us be loud, let us be bold." Brad Pitt
"They hate because they fear, and they fear because they feel that the deepest feelings of their lives are being assaulted and outraged. And they do not know why; they are powerless pawns in a blind play of social forces." Richard Wright (Native Son)
"To be, or not to be: that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them?"
William Shakespeare (Hamlet)
